There’s no shortage of magic when it comes to Congolese music, quite possibly the greatest music in the world, at least from IGOTRIDDIM‘s perspective. We kick things off properly with one of the fathers of Congolese Rumba, Grand Kalle and African Jazz.

The band’s personnel includes an incredible amount of talent and it’s an excellent way to get acquainted with each artist’s unique charms. These are some of the most cherished artists from the earliest days of the Congolese music scene.
